Our Real Lives

I wish I could cook and blog all day. I enjoy trying to find the right angles for my meal pictures to look perfect for Instagram.

I am a working mom and wife. I have a 9-5 job. I go to school 2-3 times a week. I am swamped with meaningless papers that I have to write for my classes. I have a teenage boy that is full of energy and can never get himself organized, unless it involves some kind of reward. Sometimes bribery like that does not even work. I am a wife that tries to make sure my marriage is always exciting and full of love and laughter. For now, I will just focus on what I do best — making our lives meaningful and finding ways to live a healthy, happy and organized life.

I look at all the food posts on social media and try to find ways to make my post more presentable.  If others can do it, I know I can do it.  Then I see pictures of people all dolled up and taking pictures of how cute they look holding an ice cream cone.  It makes me wish I could look cute like that too.  Then I realize, I am much more content when I’m able to be ME.  I do not need to always wear stylish clothes and put on makeup every day.  It is all about how I carry myself.  The confidence that I have.  I want to help people with their real everyday lives; people like me that have no time and are always on the run.  What we all have in common is that we still want to have some fun and excitement in our lives. It is all about balance and moderation.
